Pressall and Wrea Green Remembered

On a lovey bright autumn Remembrance Sunday morning, both villages held church services, starting at 10 am, both were very well attended, at Pressall, the church service was witnessed W. Bro. Jimmy Rogers P.Prov. G.J.D. who was there with his partner Geraldene (a lady Mark Mason). The service including the two minutes silence was basically held twice, once in the church and the 50 yards up the road at the Cenotaph, were Jimmy and Geraldene laid the wreath together. The bugler was a school girl who was excellent.

Wrea Green, with it's duck pond and cricket pitch in the middle of the village green, with the local church and pub next to each other, with the garden of remembrance and Cenotaph being halfway round the village green. The Mark wreath was laid by Mrs. Jane Beardmore, the wife of the late V.W. Bro. Kevan K. W. Beardmore P.Prov.G.J.O. Who was the elder brother of our P.G.M.

Both ceremonies were very dignified, and very well attended.
